Jungle Animal Wildlife Sanctuary is the newest
project of Ziggy's Haven.  Exotic animals that
have been retired from laboratory use, circuses
and other exhibits face euthanasia when their is
no place else for them to go.  Or taken on as
pets and then, like parrots, people realize too
late that the adorable monkey doesn't stay
adorable and the exotic cat isn't going to stay
under 100 pounds.  Read about our newest
project
here.
Ziggy's Haven is proud to be affiliated
with Jungle Friends Primate
Sanctuary.  We look forward to a long
lasting and rewarding relationship
with Kari and the Monks.  Please click

project we are working on!
Molly is our Parrot of the Month for December.  A former
companion parrot, Molly was "surrendered" to a breeder who
promised to provide her a safe home.  Trying desperately to get
away from her new "mate", Molly broke her wing which was never
treated.  Because of the stress, Molly began to pluck.  When she
had no chest feathers left to pluck she began to self mutilate.  A
visitor to the breeder saw her condition, heard her "story" and
purchased her.  He then sent her to us.  Molly is doing much
better today but her medical expenses are extensive.  Please
consider
sponsoring Molly or making a donation in her name
today!

In loving memory of our daughter Tanya Lynn
July 26, 1988 - October 19, 2005

It was her love and dedication to the animals that started
us on the path of animal rescue.  It is a path of joy and
sorrow, laughter and tears, elation and heartaches, victories
and failures.  It is a path that we will continue to travel
until our time here ends and the future dedicated directors
follow in our footsteps.
A big thank you to Shane and Johnna Morgan for
their generous delivery of toys and treats for our
feathered companions! Thank you.
